We are called ‘Frontline Church’ because we feel called to join in with God on the ‘frontline’ of what He is doing in our city. Wherever we are, in our workplaces, schools, universities, social spaces, cafes or charitable projects, we are people who want to play our part in building God’s kingdom, by sharing the good news of Jesus and meeting practical needs.
Frontline Church started in 1992 when two small churches merged together. Since then we have grown into a diverse, vibrant community that seeks to know God deeply, to live as one church body and to share the hope of Jesus in Liverpool and beyond.
Rejoice in our confident hope. Be patient in trouble and keep on praying.
Romans 12:12

Since 2024 the church has been led by Jenny and Jack Mariner and they are supported by a team from across the church family.
We meet on Sundays at our building in Wavertree with a diverse, family friendly, service. For more information or to join us click here (link)

We encourage everyone to be part of a Life Group, a small group where they can find belonging, support, growth and purpose. For more information on these groups (click here).

As a church we have always sought to be a blessing to the city of Liverpool and the people who live and work around us. We have done this in a range of ways including setting up a social action charity called Imagine If (link).
Over the years some members of Frontline have felt God call them beyond this city region, to share the hope of Jesus in other nations. We love and continue to support these members of our church body and would love to see more people sent to share the hope of Jesus in new places.
