Moravian Daily Readings for 2026

First published in 1731 in Herrnhut, Germany, The Daily Texts grew out of a spiritual renewal of the Moravian Church (Unitas Fratrum) that dates back to August 13, 1727. Today, almost 300 years after its first publication, the Daily Texts continues its promise of "a daily message from God that is new every morning." Each day's entry in this beloved daily devotional includes "watchwords" drawn from Old and New Testament. At the top of each page are listed Scripture passages for ongoing study that are part of a plan to read through the Psalms in one year and the rest of the Bible in two years.
